On the meetings of the Coordinating Council for the Development of Human Capital of KAZENERGY Association
At the meeting of the Coordination Council for the Development of Human Capital under the chairmanship of Abdenov S.S. - Vice President for Human Resource Management of “NC “KazMunaiGas” JSC, held on October 19-20, 2017, along with the members of the Coordinating Council at the meeting, participation representatives of trade unions of oil and gas industry workers.
Within the framework of the meeting of the Coordination Council, a number of issues were considered, in particular about the work of the Association as part of the Expert Group on Analysis of the Law Enforcement Practice of the Labor Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The status of the Expert Group's work was presented to the participants of the meeting, the most relevant comments and proposals were substantively discussed. The Coordinating Council decided to forward updated comments and proposals on the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, representatives of Ernst & Young held a seminar on topic “Evaluation of the contribution of business to the development of the country”. Interest in this topic is connected with the possibility of obtaining knowledge about the assessment of the full contribution of various sectors of the economy to the development of the country. The participants of the meeting were thoroughly acquainted with the methodology for assessing the full contribution to the economy of the country, learned about the advisability of conducting such a business valuation. The seminar organizers informed the audience how such an assessment can help the business in making decisions, and how the results of the evaluation can be used as a communication tool, including within the framework of corporate social responsibility of companies. At the end of the seminar, the participants of the meeting received certificates from Ernst & Young.
At the meeting of the Coordination Council dated by November 23-24, 2017, a number of issues were considered, in particular, the development of professional standards in the industry and the reflection of the minimum tariff rates in the industry in the content of the Industry Agreement in the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries.
KAZENERGY Association with the purpose of acquaintance of members of Association with a technique of working out of professional standards and formation in branch of understanding of importance of a question of professional standards has invited company Ernst & Young for carrying out of a seminar on a theme “Development of professional standards in Kazakhstan”.
Within the framework of the seminar the participants were informed about the prerequisites for the development of professional standards in Kazakhstan, the national system of qualifications of Kazakhstan, the methodology for developing professional standards for the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan.
