The meetings of the Executive and Programme Committees of the World Petroleum Council were held in KrakowThe meetings of the Executive and Programme Committees of the World Petroleum Council were held in KrakowOn May 15 this year, in Krakow, Poland, the meetings of the Executive and Programme Committees of the World Petroleum Council (hereinafter referred to as “WPC”) were held, at which the Vice-President for Marketing of the WPC Jambulat Sarsenov made a report.
In his speech, Jambulat Sarsenov presented to the Executive Committee a report on the marketing and communication activities of the WPC. A significant contribution of Kazakhstan to the construction of a positive image of the WPC in the country was noted. Therefore, in 2017, within the framework of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017, the WPC was the official partner of the Ministerial Conference (organized jointly with the UN regional committees) and the XI Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY organized by the KAZENERGY Association. In addition, within the framework of the Expo, WPC Day was organized, at which bilateral meetings were held to discuss issues of further cooperation.
One of the main principles of the future marketing strategy of the WPC, proposed by the Kazakhstan National Committee, was the involvement of member countries in the communication activities of the organization and the use of integrated marketing communications.
At the end of the meeting, Jambulat Sarsenov noted the importance of bilateral cooperation between the sectors in different countries through the national committees of the WPC.
The initiatives proposed by the Vice President for Marketing of the WPC Jambulat Sarsenov were accepted and supported by the members of the Executive Committee and will be considered by the marketing working group of the WPC.
