As part of the Russian Energy Week, the Roscongress Foundation and the Association of legal entities "Kazakhstan Association of oil-gas and energy sector organizations "KAZENERGY" signed the cooperation agreement in Moscow at a solemn signing ceremony. It was attended by CEO and Director of the Foundation Alexander Stuglev and General Director of the Association Asset Magauov.
The document sets out how the parties shall cooperate in building communication between the expert communities and business circles of Russia and Kazakhstan in the area of energy as well as in running joint business and thematic meetings, including conferences, workshops, round tables and forums aimed at developing oil and gas and energy industries of the participating countries.
"First of all, the aim of the agreement is to promote the energy agenda. It will become the official platform for closer cooperation between our companies in this respect, and will make it possible to implement joint projects, exchange experiences and expert opinions on current issues of oil and gas development, and trends in the technological development of the sector", said Alexander Stuglev.
"Today KAZENERGY Association unites the largest oil and gas and energy companies in Kazakhstan. We are an active participant in comprehensive decisions and initiatives aimed at modernizing the fuel and energy complex of Kazakhstan. The agreement between the Foundation and the Association pursues more in-depth integration in aspects of a common agenda in the development of industries. I am confident that the emerging frontiers and opportunities behind this cooperation will be extremely important and useful for many representatives of the industry sector of our countries", said Asset Magauov.
Under the agreement, the parties are also planning to provide mutual consulting, communication and expert support on current issues of the oil, gas and energy agenda.

The Russian Energy Week, International Forum, (REN) is taking place in Moscow from October 3 to October 6, 2018. The purpose of the forum is to discuss the current global energy agenda, identify the main directions for the development of the fuel and energy sectors, and search for the best solutions in response to existing challenges.
The total number of REN-2017 participants exceeded 10,000 people. There are 94 foreign countries participating in the REN-2017.
