Work on the development of the Action Plan to create safe working conditions and reduce occupational injuries in oil and gas sector
The work on the development of the Action Plan to create safe working conditions and reduce occupational injuries in oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical sectors (industries) for 2019-2021 (hereinafter referred to as the Plan) is continuing. The regular meeting of the Working group for Plan development was held on November 9, 2018 under the chairmanship of Viktor Vesnin – Chairman of the Technical Committee-75 of the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Legal Adviser of Yedil-Oral.kz LLP.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Atameken NCE, leading HSE specialists from such companies as: NCOC, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products, KazTransOil JSC, PSA LLP, Yedil-Oral.kz LLP, trade unions etc.

Members of the Working group discussed the draft Plan, shared their opinions and expressed their views on the need to refer separate provisions of the Plan in the Republican Roadmap on reducing occupational injuries and jobs with harmful and dangerous working conditions for 2019-2021. A vote was taken by the results of discussion. The work will be continued in November-December this year with the presentation of results at the next meeting of the Sectoral Commission under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
