Meeting of the Coordination Council for financial and economic issues was held on February 1 at KAZENERGY Association.
The meeting was chaired by Asset Magauov, the Director General of the Association with participation of representatives of the Specialized Administration of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Tax and Customs Policy Department of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and representatives of 16 companies – subsoil users including JSC NC KazMunaygas, JSC Mangistaumunaigas, Zhaikmunai LLP, TOTAL E&P KAZAKHSTAN, JSC Embamunaigas, JV Kazgermunai LLP, LUKOIL OVERSEAS SERVICE B.V., JSC Karazhanbasmunai, JSC Ozenmunaigas, NAC Kazatomprom JSC, CNPC Aktobemunaigas JSC, and others.
During the meeting the Specialized Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented the issues of oil barrelization ratio. There was also a discussion of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the taxation of subsoil users that resulted in 20 amendments submitted for consideration.
