On April 2, 2019, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On making changes and amendments to several legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding development of business environment and regulation of trade activities” (hereinafter – the Law).
Within the framework of this Law, 16 amendments of the KAZENERGY Association Members regarding the following have been made to the Tax Code:
- definitions of crude processed gas being sold to the national operator as a state privilege for the purposes of corporate income tax;
- tax liability when government agencies and certain categories of legal entities transfer property to fiduciary management;
- dates of goods sales according to goods distribution documents;
- dates of services sales via gas trunk lines system;
- correction of the amount of value-added tax taken as offset;
- correction of income and tax deduction of physical persons;
- calculation of amounts of current payments for property and land taxes;
- submission of tax forms for special payments for subsoil use.
