KAZENERGY Association published the first volume of “Collection of Reports of Scientific and Technical Council of the Kazakhstan Association of Oil-Gas and Energy Sector Organizations “KAZENERGY” for the period from 2015 to 2017.
As the Chairman of the KAZENERGY Scientific and Technical Council Uzakbay KARABALIN noted: “In December 2012, the KAZENERGY Scientific and Technical Council was established, it is an advisory body designed to assist in the organization and coordination of scientific, technical, innovation and implementation activities of the Association’s members.
Over the past time, the STC has become a leading platform for discussing research and development, as well as opportunities for practical application of innovative technologies in the energy sector. In total, more than 30 meetings of the STC were held, at which more than 160 reports on the entire spectrum of energy topics were presented. The meetings of the Scientific and Technical Council were attended by about 900 specialists and experts of the industry.
Taking into account the relevance, scientific and practical value of the presented materials, in 2018, the KAZENERGY Scientific and Technical Council decided to publish the main reports considered at the meetings. This project was kindly supported and sponsored by Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B. V.”
The STC Collection includes research, engineering and analytical works of oil and gas and energy companies, members of the Association, as well as experts of third-party foreign organizations and scientific institutions, as well as scientists and researchers of the leading technical universities of the country. The book systematizes the STC materials in 20 sections: development and production of oil and gas from low-permeable shale formations; activity and offers of service companies for oil and gas and energy sectors; new generation technologies, increase in efficiency of processes of oil operations, etc.
