The aim was to expand working contacts and interaction in media coverage and SMM – the area of activities of the Association and its members. Zangar Nogaibay, Executive Director of the Association, opened the meeting. He noted that KAZENERGY strives to interact with the companies in the broadest range of activities. PR field is one of the demanded areas. Cooperation of press services in the coverage of energy events, including the events held at KAZENERGY, is most significant.
Sluzhan Ismailova, Press Secretary of the Association, reported on specifics of the daily PR work of KAZENERGY and PR activities during the Eurasian Forum. Media tools were offered to the participants to deepen the interaction between the organizations in this field. In particular, the exchange of information and posting it on the Association’s corporate website (www.kazenergy.com), SMM resources (Facebook, Linkedin), in KAZENERGY magazine and newsletter. And also on the resources of the member companies.
Along with this, it was proposed to create a common information base to coordinate and conduct common information and image events, to organize meetings of PR structures of companies, and to establish a PR club under the Association.
The meeting was proposed by Gulnara Bissari, Head of GB Media Consult company, who held the workshop on “Positioning of industry companies in the social media”. The participants received practical recommendations on keeping of social accounts for oil and gas companies. The report provided a comparative analysis of interaction efficiency and promotion of information by the members of KAZENERGY Association within Facebook and Linkedin theme platforms. Also, as part of the workshop, cases of the XI KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum were examined.
