On February 2, 2024, in response to the request of KAZENERGY members, the Association organized a webinar to explain the provisions of the draft Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the 'Methodology for determining the minimum monthly wage.' The speakers for the webinar were representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Let us clarify that, in accordance with the currently developed Methodology, the minimum wage will be determined based on indicators such as weights, shares of median wages, and weights, shares of labor productivity.
Following the webinar, participants reached an agreement that the Association and its members will actively participate in the preparation of the calculation of the minimum monthly wage.
