About the program
MentorMe is the first mentoring program for Kazakhstani youth in the energy sector (oil and gas, electricity, coal, uranium, renewable energy) that will be available to participants on-the-job, on-campus, off-campus. Distance Format Program.
Having studied the international eight-year practice, the KAZENERGY Youth Committee has developed a concept to adapt to Kazakhstani youth.
Participants of the program are 5 mentors and 25 young professionals and students from all over Kazakhstan.
The mentor shares with the Mentee his/her professional experience, recommendations, assessment, and vision on energy sector issues, soft skills, and other issues related to professional and personal growth.

What is the goal?
To improve the professional skills of young professionals, to teach the principle of continuous development, to transfer the experience of high-level professionals to the youth of the energy sector.
How will we achieve this?
We will provide a platform for transferring the experience of industry experts to a group of young professionals working in the energy complex and students of technical specialties.
There will be Mentor-led group work on several projects.
At the end of the program, participants will gain experience in conducting analytical, creative and teamwork under the mentorship of an energy professional. The MentorMe program is a great opportunity to develop soft skills, networking, collaboration and synergy.
Who are the Mentors?
Energy industry experts with at least 10 years of industry experience.
Who is Menti?

young professional working in the energy sector (up to 35 years old);

student of technical specialty (up to 35 years old).

How is the Group formed?
Candidates are selected by the Program Committee based on the eligibility requirements.
Each Group consists of 5 people - students and young professionals from different cities of Kazakhstan.
Minimum requirements for a candidate to Menti
Deadline for receipt of applications: 23:59 hours (Nur-Sultan time) October 20, 2019

Based on the candidate's completed online form, resume and cover letter (no more than 500 words on the topic “Why would I like to go through the MentorMe mentoring program?”), the Program Committee will select 25 participants from all over Kazakhstan and form the most diversified groups for effective networking.
