ABOUT NEW STUDENTDIGITALFEST COMPETITIONABOUT NEW STUDENTDIGITALFEST COMPETITIONOctober 4, 2019 at Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanova (hereinafter - ARSU) held a meeting of the Executive Director of the KAZENERGY Association Akhmurzina Lyazzat with students of 2-4 courses and undergraduates of the educational programs "Mining", "Oil and Gas Business", "Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances", "Chemical Technology of Organic Substances", “Ecology”, “Biology”, “Physics”, “Mathematics”, “Information Systems” with the support of the Center for Professional Development and Career of ARSU.
During the meeting with the vice-rector of the university R. Beknazarov and students, the “Student Digital Competition” competition of the KAZENERGY Association was presented with the sponsorship of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.
The new StudentDigitalFest contest was announced as part of XI Youth Forum "Youth and Challenges of the Time", held September 24, 2019.
In addition, students got acquainted with the activities of the KAZENERGY Association, aimed at supporting students through the implementation of educational grants and scholarships, as well as competitions held to develop the potential of young people through innovative projects.
The purpose of the StudentDigitalFest contest is to support innovative youth projects to develop technological solutions in the digitalization of the oil and gas and energy industries.
Students of bachelor's and master's degrees in technical specialties of universities of Kazakhstan can take part in the competition.
ARSU is one of the active universities of Kazakhstan and the KAZENERGY educational program. This year, the 24ELEMENT university team took part in the Student Energy Challenge intellectual team competition and reached the semi-finals of the competition, which took place at the XI Youth Forum “Youth and Challenges of the Times” in Nur-Sultan.
As part of the KAZENERGY scholarship program, out of 705 grants allocated for the 2019-2020 academic year, 19 grant holders are students of ARSU.
At the end of the meeting, the leadership of the university, supporting the initiatives of the Association, expressed its willingness to work together.
