KAZENERGY Participated in the PESIC 2025 Conference in Chengdu

The 8th China International Conference on Photovoltaic and Energy Storage (PESIC 2025), one of the key global platforms for discussing the development of solar energy and energy storage systems, has concluded in Chengdu, China. The forum was held from November 17 to 20 at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention Center and brought together representatives of leading companies and experts in renewable energy, storage technologies, smart grids, and related innovations.

Speaking at the plenary sessions, speakers discussed in detail China’s achievements in the new energy sector: the country’s rise in recent years to become the world’s largest market and manufacturing center for solar energy, its record pace of commissioning solar and storage capacities, and the formation of a complete value chain — from the production of materials and equipment to integrated “solar + storage” solutions. Special emphasis was placed on China’s new economic development logic, where green energy and technological innovation are considered key drivers of sustainable growth. Presentations also referenced Chinese philosophy emphasizing harmony between humans and nature, China’s global leadership in photovoltaics, and its readiness to share technologies and experience with partners.

A separate focus was placed on the evolving business approaches within China’s energy sector. Speakers noted that the era of “rough” competition based solely on cost-cutting and price dumping is becoming a thing of the past. According to them, the new business logic involves building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships, paying more attention to working conditions, the needs of employees, and the communities where projects are implemented, as well as jointly developing fair rules for the global new energy market. Chinese companies stressed that they strive not to “win at any cost,” but to grow together with partners by creating sustainable cooperation chains.

The exhibition showcased advanced solutions in photovoltaic modules, inverters, industrial and grid-scale energy storage systems, as well as digital platforms for energy system management.

The KAZENERGY Association participated in PESIC 2025 as part of the Kazakhstani delegation, presenting Kazakhstan’s perspective on the energy transition in a country with a well-developed oil and gas sector and significant solar and wind potential. For the Kazakh side, both technological solutions and this new cooperation logic — focused on long-term partnership, mutual respect, and consideration of the national specifics of project-host countries — were of particular interest.

On the first day of the forum, a representative of the KAZENERGY Association also took part in the PESIC 2025 industry awards ceremony, where organizers recognized companies and projects that made significant contributions to the development of photovoltaics and energy storage systems.
